Diagram Of A Torn Rotator Cuff

New York travelogue

Hello love her.

I'm back safe and sound in Germany and arrived as promised in here will make a "small" travel report. I will go build up like a little diary and chronologically from first to last day by. In order to not break the frame here, I will only upload selected images, 400 images because it would be a bit too much and now the Central Park has given me many pictures that have forced me to accept them. Maybe I'll even attach a guy a few photos I've made just for the look. Then let's start times with

Day 1: The flight and the arrival

My flight was early on Friday, 02/11/2011 at 07:55. For me that meant, therefore, possible to get up early because you have 2 hours before there should be. I'm glad (and again many thanks for it) that I could stay with Stephen, because I had come to the time with the public bad of Recklinghausen on. So had my small car safe (and free) place and I was able to take a bus to the terminal. Check everything and everything went smoothly and the first stage to Madrid could be addressed. Comfortable it was not, but at least the sun was shining.

1

After some waiting and delay I was able to finally in the plane to New York. That was a lot more comfortable and I was also fortunate that not many at that time really wanted in the United States. The plane was filled only halfway and I had two places for me. In the middle there is an even four places bunkered and there first made long. I have a little something made for the university, dozed a bit and enjoyed the view out the window.

2
above the clouds, the limitless freedom probably be * sing *

The view on approach to JFK airport was then once again. We are actually quite low over the residential district of New Flew York. It is surprising how much land they occupy residential areas.

landing was then about 19:00 local time. Then came the fight with the ATM, since he is simply not working as in Dtl. But I needed $ 300 for the hostel. Having had a nice gentleman helped me then, I went with a small bus to Grand Central Station. It was late, I was almost 24 are on their feet and are welcomed with an incredible view of the Manhattan skyline and then it went up in the adventure by public transport. After some rumgefrage I found then the Metro (MTA) and I was then plowed through to my destination. The next day I found out then that there are two lines: Local and Express. Of course I'm down on my first day with the clubs, so unnecessarily long. But one learns from his mistakes. But then a girl sitting next to me what to sing just like that first began quietly. I was very surprised, because that would NEVER happen to us but it was good, not so we had to block their ears.

My hostel I've found it pretty quickly and it was how I got it I already thought: quite simple. From the beginning, but I did not expect luxury and off to sleep I was never there.

My room

The room was really small, but I did fit in a small cupboard in which everything and has a small shelf with mirror. Upon entering, I am but felt like a sauna and first had to make up the heating. I've never turned on again, it is with the window closed so quickly got warm (no idea then, why have people complaining about it). The view from the window was then they are less beautiful, a pile of cable (probably for TV) and simply ugly. So did the shade all along the bottom left ^ ^

11

Hab dann auch erstmal meine Eltern angerufen (in NY war es ja eh nicht zu früh to do something and my father wanted to be calmed down yet. 've Also learned later that his first act was the day to see if a plane has crashed. Then he will read my text, I have promised to write.)

did after the phone call then I first met a German woman with whom I had breakfast then first together and have a bit of talk about interest and knowledge exchange.

207

here then I've actually always had time to enjoy my breakfast. Usually a bagel with cream cheese (8 different available, including walnut and strawberry) and a medium coffee.

Actually, I want to be equal to the subway to Brooklyn, but in Times Square was a police raid and the train do not lead. So I'm in the direction of Central Park, because there still drove a car that does not lead through Times Square. But then my views have changed and still am for the first time then walked through the park. Everywhere there was still snow and despite everything we see many joggers (often with baby carriages) and dog owners.

13 14 20

located in the park then even the Delacorte Theater and the Belvedere Castle.

otherwise have more ice and snow ...

28
29
"Why is this straw ... really?"

Then I started my actual plan for the day and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. Actually, I was encouraged to take the road to Manhattan, but I am then it went to Brooklyn and I've just turned over. Had such a nice view ^ ^

37

And here they see the architectural masterpiece of the Brooklyn Bridge, responsive people are to please ignore it.

36

Over Brooklyn me then my guidebook recommended both a chocolatier, the other a floating music hall. The Chocolatier's really very nice and tasty, but is there please do not just before Valentine's Day out there, if you will only buy dark chocolate for your father ... Otherwise I have a hot chocolate brought from there and it was very chocolaty and not so watery as with us, but I have not done anything, because there will just one day was much too sweet.

44

the "Barge Music" I've listened to me then a free concert and it was really good. On the day it was then still relatively stormy and even if the boat has not passed, we've also felt the waves.

48 46

the end of the day, I still went to the Transit Museum, which is an old abandoned subway station. On display there was the story of the emergence of the metro and even old cars. There was also an armored car, and older hubs there.

60 66 70

The day was not yet really finished, but my feet have now hurt already (what do you expect when you actually otherwise most of his day in a lecture hall spending) and the jet lag I was also beaten yet and I've become tired quite early.

Day 3: Metropolitan Museum of Art, 5th Avenue

74

For this day I never imagined the visit of this huge museum there and I have done really well spent 5h. It is unbelievable what is issued for a variety there and I've already picked out in advance what I want to see is ESSENTIAL. I've seen so the weapons and armor, musical instruments and the Egyptian section, the latter was really overloaded. There were rooms that are "Study Room called "and really looked more like a storage rack. A pile of pottery shards, beads, jewelry, figurines and more of the same variety from different materials and different sizes. Then I'm walking through the departments with the paintings and then promptly got me bleed once. It was just built up and out of the nest containing other pictures hung there, saw the rooms, all on the same and not just once, I went to a new room and thought to myself. "Stop, stop ... here I was ever"
Finally, I am then still run by the modern art and most things I thought only really why if you please here depends. One example was a blue screen (it was really only blue) but this was not square, but where every corner has a different angle. Why is your beautiful art? I was actually better because the American flag in white:

73

Despite the long time I had spent there was the day not over yet and I am therefore simply run the 5th Avenue towards Downtown. 'm In the Trump Tower, churches, the Rockefeller Centre and the Public Library passed.

78 83 84 87

My journey began here at the intersection with 80th Street and ended in the 39th street in an Irish pub, because my only thought was: "I need NEN beer". I was just tired after this march and had aching feet, legs and even the back hurt. Also had good luck and again in the evening there was live music and two types have played a little Irish music.

89 94

After 5 beers (which I have paid for only 3 and 2 were issued to me ... do not ask me how I managed this), I'm at 8 but then go home.

Day 4: Grand Central Station, shopping, and southern tip of Staten Iceland Ferry

On this day, should I even take my cousin, for which I am actually beginning ever flown to NY. Meeting point was against 14 clock at Penn Station, so I wanted to start my day there in the area. For this reason, I've considered myself first again in peace and without the huge bag of Grand Central Station. The part is really huge and a domed roof has a really nice picture of star images, which my camera could not capture, however. But was then found too high and a postcard showing a picture not only I have. But on the Internet, it can certainly ^ ^

95 Photobucket find

Bin subsequently in the direction of Penn Station, taking over at the Morgan Library and the Empire State Building. I then sags in the Manhattan Mall and then got there the first time a little money left ^ ^

Photobucket 109

The meeting with my cousin and her two pals was a little earlier and then everything went very quickly. Lower Manhattan in fast-forward, as one of Mareike's pals is that same day, flew back to Dtl. So we are from Ground Zero to Pier 17, then to Wall Street to Trinity Church High and Broadway down to Battery Park

In my miles that I've been running the day before, I was really too much hustle and somehow I was glad when it was finally over and they are driven to the airport . Stefan, the second mate of my cousin, is still made me company and we are with the Staten Iceland Ferry to the Statue of Liberty passed.

We were on the "Hurricane Deck" and it was really VERY stürmich. I could not wear the hat, although I had fear that I lose it. I have my camera with me 2x the ribbon around the wrist and I had always photographed with one hand, I had to hold still in order not to fall. I asked myself honestly, why I got my hair done that morning. Just later on the mainland. We have even tried to lean into the wind, but has unfortunately not worked as planned ^ ^

169

And here, at the end of the day, a photo of the construction site at Ground Zero.

Day 5 had Broadway, Little Italy, Chinatown, Pier 17 and shopping

And on this day I at least up to 14 clock Stefan as a lovely accompaniment xD I was so glad not to be always alone and this day I have again had a forced march behind me. Have run from Penn Station to Broadway down, thousands of jewelry and bag shops have seen (with lots of bling bling) and have it be quiet through the little Italy and Chinatown kitsch wiedermal made it to the sea.

184 185 191 188 192

After looking at the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge, we can end our tour at the Pier 17th

197 199 204

After a bit of abuses from the shops and Gebummel Stefan had then been going on to get his flight and I was again alone. 've Eaten another typical American hot dog (well) and then my day but ended relatively early. For dinner I have to be a fruit-yogurt-granola-part purchased and unfortunately this was not a pure yogurt but some sweet earth and the cereal was still sweet (like corn flakes) and I could not really eat at once.

Day 6: Intrepid, Times Square, and Top of the Rocks

Alone on the way I've made my day, the Intrepid, an aircraft carrier from the 2nd World War II to explore. A big part of what has survived the kamikaze attack of the Japanese and has now been converted into a museum. The pride of the Americans, in respect of himself and the war feel that clear here, not necessarily something I support. But oh well, this part was impressive already, after all, is a big block of metal which floats ^ ^

One of the four propellers

The part was tiny, although it is set up so increased, it is smaller than my one

In there I was made well and have nice pictures of the command deck, which I am withholding times ^ ^

The flight deck with many, many airplanes ...

... and even a that it was only constructed about 40 times. What an honor it is to see here * cough *

then I could see me a U-boat and in a word, it's tight! So not for the claustrophobic. I do not imagine how it is, if not alone in lower long-run, but several dozens of other people.

272

Again, I contain most of the time you ^ ^ Only two photos I want to make a look. You can see the bedroom of the ordinary soldier (or whatever) is. Please Note is the small door that happened to me only to the shoulders. Unfortunately, I had no one to shoot me out with. What had shocked me even more ... then gave the rows of beds it again (Marked through with an arrow) in the second row O_O

Photobucket 266

After I left the museum then behind me, I walked to Times Square and was allowed America to admire wonderful shape of the space-saving parking.

274

Here then are some pictures from Times Square by day:

And then also at night is

A flickering and Geblinke and bright and colorful and I still do not know everything. So there it is certainly never night.

addition, I was still on the Rockefeller Center, on Top of the Rocks. Even here I was, where it was still light, then I got up there the sunset viewing (and wrote postcards while xD) and finally Manhattan at night to admire.

Interesting was then still the Toys'Я'us with a "giant" and rad Comic Figures:

And the Disney Store, which was totally overpriced:

days 7: Bodies, Highline and funny underground station

And again, I went to a museum. Today it was the smaller version of Body Worlds and really interesting, but not for the faint of heart. Knowing that it's really real people are those who - hautentblößt - are facing one that is really crass. Were then shown the function of organs of the human body, from the skeleton, muscles and on blood vessels, nervous system, digestive and reproductive organs, ect ... and all sorts of diseases such as cancer and the like. I'm more interested then the conclusion that the figures were even prepared to be issued subsequently so. Because of containing small polymer scientists came up to me ^ ^

then I never imagined the High Line views, an old railway track, which was developed as a park. Really a great idea and determined breathtaking in spring and summer. Sorry, but only to ⅓ done.

326 327
329 335

And here is me again an amazing ability to space-saving parking'm back on the road running ^ ^

336

On the way home I then Station 14 pieces "of the Line A, C and E entered and found amazing little creatures that have taken root there, to guard their money.

342 340 343 325

or Puck? And that was just a small selection that I've shown you here.
Before me then aching feet (again) in the hostel easily have done, I've eaten ice cream and was fascinated with all the toppings. I wish there would be such a thing here in Germany.

Day 8: Central Park, the second flap

My journey was drawing slowly to a close and move so slowly I had no desire to own everything around. On the day amazingly good weather and I am again mackerel through Central Park was (and still are not views have almost everything). But it is amazing that already running around with some sunshine and temperatures around 10 ° C, the Yanks would be the same as summer. I have seen many incredible with ballerinas without tights. Bare legs and even flip-flops with 3 girls !!!!!!! The spin the Yanks.

On the day caused some really nice pictures, some is still in the end I just so random ^ ^ show

Day 9: Long Iceland

Finally a day when the one I was not alone (I had the company of my cousin) and the other not much had to run (hooray for cars ). We also drove to the tip of Long and Iceland have the sea in stormy weather admired. Really got out often we are not, because it was really stormy. I enjoyed it once ripped the car door from the hand (luckily was in the car next to nothing happened) and Marek their front door (fortunately nothing happened in ME). Otherwise, I've
the day probably the most bought from my trip clothes. Including a summer suit from Calvin Klein and a few things from Tommy Hilfiger, and shoes (who knows me knows that I can never have enough shoes -.-). For dinner there was delicious Mexican (which I call successful fast foot) and ice cream cake. It was a struggle but with the ice cream cake, because the total was still hard and Marek had not really big knife, in which the leverage could exploit. Thus, it has rumgesägt despairs and I've then poking ("Eiskuchen, !!!") shine through the ice fought and triumphed in the end.

401 403

Oh, and I have a "German Brownie" bought. Neither I, nor Mareike have figured out what was on top.

Day 10: Last errands and return home

My journey, and thus this Geschriebsel (I hope some of them have stayed here for one way) tend to the end. On the last day I will trying to pack my bag and thanks to a new jackets and other purchases I've not really get. With a heavy heart I've * cough * then my towels and some bathing suits allowed in the hostel and with the strength of my weighted (...) then get the bag. I then again in the city and had me worried a few little things (sweets ^ ^) and I then got in the early afternoon on his way to the airport. You had to move out there, but really the shoes, but luckily I did not have in the body scanner (which stood around there really). The flight was peaceful in itself, only this time the aircraft was totally full. But for some unknown reason I had the seat next to me free and another person has been denied it put up there. So I did it again, both places for me and have tried to sleep because I was supposed to arrive now at 8 in Madrid. There, I then experienced a beautiful sunrise.

416

Well, finally I ended up at noon and in Germany, yet was actually stopped by Customs:

Customs Officer: Where do they come? Show me your passport once I
: from New York.
Customs Officer: you have to declare what?
I: I was shopping already, but I'm still under it.
Customs Officer: Where underneath?
Me: Well under This 430 €.
Customs Officer: Ok, nice day.
Me: * quickly got away *

Man I almost got heart NEN Kasper. I know not whether I am really under there or not. 'm Just only noticed because my bag was quite full, compared to the others. What do you expect even if the part is from Spain and I also the cold New York. Winter clothes take hold more space away ^ ^ Hab

then also get the same bus I think, to my beloved little car (it was fine) and then with a growling stomach to Recklinghausen. How lucky it will of course so I am then also times in a traffic jam, because once again was a truck accident. But this time also saw quite stark, and somehow I could be happy that it happened within an intersection, so that they could guide us through the exit around it.

417

My conclusion after all this: never again leave it alone! Now I do
first vacation from my vacation with my grandparents ^ ^

PS: Maren now has a reason, I must see again xD
